Meet The team

We're collective_100 — and we'd love to (re)introduce ourselves.

April has been one of our biggest months yet. New faces are popping up, the space is buzzing with fresh energy, and it felt like exactly the right moment to tell our story - or retell it, for those of you who already know it by heart.

Seven years ago, our director Barry spotted something missing in the coworking world: spaces that felt big, corporate, and a little cold. He wanted something boutique, neighbourly, homey, and personal. So he and his daughter Kiara brought collective_100 to life — and here we are.

Behind every warm greeting, smoothly-running day, and squeaky-clean coffee machine is a small team with a lot of heart. Meet us.

Barry

Founder & Director

Barry is the vision behind collective_100. He wanted a coworking space that felt nothing like a corporate office - one where people actually knew each other's names. (He's always the first to try yours, by the way. He'll give it a confident crack before asking - it's one of his signature moves, and it comes entirely from a place of warmth.)

Outside the space, Barry leads a life that makes the rest of us feel deeply unproductive. He's just returned from Bhutan - on a motorbike. He's completed humanitarian tours through Cambodia, East Timor, and Uganda. He mentors teenagers through the Moorabbin Police program, is deeply involved in Rotary, and has run a photography business and a computer business in past lives.

Kiara

General Manager

Kiara has been here since day one and is, in her own words, "a very random person" - the evidence is compelling. She completed a double degree in Arts and Business with majors in Finance and German, a minor in French, and studied on exchange in Denmark. She is also the reason everything at collective_100 runs as smoothly as it does, even when the rest of us don't notice.

Beyond the space: she plays basketball, swims, gyms, is part of Rotaract, and sits on the leadership team for RYLA - a week-long program developing young leaders. She's also just finished The Housemaid series and will not be taking questions.

Sass

Community Lead & Head of Sales

Sass is your first point of contact and your 600th "good morning" in the hallway. From your very first enquiry to every day you walk through the door, she's across every part of your journey at collective_100 - including keeping your coffee machines spotless.

Born and raised in Richmond, Sass captains the women's seniors AFL team at De La Salle and sits on the board campaigning for a bigger women's program. This preseason, they made history - fielding two women's teams for the very first time. She also barracks for the Brisbane Lions (her dad's from Fitzroy, which explains everything).

Whether you've been here since day one or just walked in this month - we're really glad you're here. Come say hi. We'll probably already be saying hi to you. - The collective_100 team
