With the count down to summer getting to just 2 days, it is time to dust off your cocktail shaker and get some new recipes to help you remember and cherish the summer of 2019! We have picked out 3 of our favorites to share with you.
1. The Grape Fruit and Cucumber Fizz
What better way to cool down than with this fun citrus cocktail! With grapefruit juice, lime juice, agave syrup and a dash of gin this is sure to be a real crowd pleaser!
Ingredients:
- 30ml's of Gin.
- 70ml's of Grapefruit juice.
- 20ml's of Lime juice.
- 2 slices of Cucumber.
- 5ml's of Agave syrup.
- 1 Grapefruit slice to serve.
- Ice.
- Soda water.
- 30 ml's of Orange liqueur (optional)
Instructions:
In a shaker place the gin, grapefruit juice, lime juice, agave syrup, ice, cucumber and if you choose, you can also add orange liqueur. SHAKE!! Pour into a glass and top it up with soda water. Now, time to get your camera out and make everyone else jealous!
2. Blueberry Mojito
With only 6 ingredients this Blueberry Mojito won't break the bank and will be worth every cent!
Ingredients:
- 30ml's of vodka.
- 1 lime, Half squeezed into juice and half sliced.
- fresh mint.
- Soda water.
- blueberries.
- 10ml's of sugar syrup.
Instructions:
Add your blueberries, lime slice, lime juice, vodka, sugar syrup and fresh mint to a tall glass, mix it up well breaking up the berries, mint, and lime to unleash the flavor! Add in your ice and give it another quick mix up before topping it up with soda water. Garnish with mint and a slice of lime. Now kick back, and relax, the Blueberry Mojito should help, if you are having trouble relaxing try adding a second shot of vodka next time!
3. Watermelon Sangria
This one is a little more complicated, however, it might also be just a little bit more delicious!
Ingredients:
- 100g of cubed watermelon.
- Moscato.
- 30ml's of rum.
- 1 lime, half slice half juiced.
- 10ml's of sugar syrup.
Instructions:
Simply place the watermelon, rum, lime juice, and sugar syrup into the blender and blend, blend, blend! After everything is thoroughly blended pour into a glass and top it up with Moscato, simply place it in the refrigerator until chilled or add ice. Garnish the glass with a slice of lime and enjoy!
